Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Soleilx (art.meishuzuopin.net and related Soleilx Art Notes pages) handles information when you visit our static light site, take the Art Personality Quiz, or view pages that may display Google AdSense ads. This is a publisher disclosure for transparency — not legal advice.
1. Who we are
Soleilx is an independent art-appreciation project associated with @LaiouSuo on X. Contact for privacy questions: via X DM to @LaiouSuo or the email published on the About page when available.
2. What we collect
- No accounts required. The MVP does not ask you to create a login.
- Quiz answers. Scoring runs in your browser. Answers are not uploaded to our servers by default. If you share a result link, the URL may contain a non-identifying axis sketch (percentages) and archetype slug — treat shared URLs as public.
- Server / CDN logs. Our host (e.g. Cloudflare Pages or equivalent) may automatically log IP address, user-agent, referrer, and timestamps for security and reliability.
- Analytics (if enabled later). We will update this page before enabling any first-party analytics beyond host logs.
3. Advertising — Google AdSense & DoubleClick DART
When Google AdSense is enabled on this site, Google (and its partners) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits.
DoubleClick DART cookie. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use the DoubleClick DART cookie (or successor technologies) to serve ads. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also visit aboutads.info/choices for industry opt-out tools.
We do not place ad slots inside quiz answer controls. Ad units are labeled “Advertisement”. Before ads go live we will publish an ads.txt at the site root and a consent banner where required.
4. Cookies & similar technologies
Essential cookies may be set by our host for security/CDN. Advertising cookies are set by Google/partners only after AdSense is active (and, in the EEA/UK/CH, after consent where required by law). You can block cookies in your browser; some features or ads may not work as intended.
5. GDPR (EEA/UK) — your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability, subject to applicable law. Where we rely on consent for non-essential cookies/ads, you may withdraw consent at any time via the consent tool (when deployed) or browser controls. To exercise rights regarding data we control, contact @LaiouSuo. For Google’s processing as an independent controller/processor of ad data, use Google’s privacy tools and Google Privacy Policy.
6. CCPA/CPRA (California) — your rights
California residents may have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Soleilx does not sell personal information for money. Enabling AdSense may constitute “sharing” under CPRA for advertising purposes. Opt out via Google Ads Settings, industry tools above, or a future “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control on this site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 for sale/sharing.
7. International transfers
Our hosting and Google services may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, providers use appropriate transfer mechanisms (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
8. Retention
Browser-side quiz state lasts only as long as you keep the tab/local storage. CDN logs are retained per host defaults (typically days to weeks) unless needed for security. Shared result URLs persist only if you or others keep them.
9. Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where AdSense child-directed rules apply). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the site or ad stack changes. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do.
